FAQ

Questions parents ask

What ages is this program for?

Team Fudoshin Youth Leadership Academy Level I is for kids ages 8-12. It's the foundational program in the Team Fudoshin series.

Do I need to register more than one child at a time?

No. You can register one child, or add multiple children to the same checkout - the price is $65 per child for the complete 3-class program.

What happens at the final class?

Class 3 reviews everything from the first two classes and closes with the Team Fudoshin Challenge - a graduation event. Parents must attend the final 30 minutes of this class, and are welcome at every session.

Is there a liability waiver?

Yes. A parent or guardian completes the participation waiver in person before a child's first class. Registering online reserves your child's spot and collects an acknowledgement of this requirement - it is not the waiver itself.

Where does the Academy train?

Sessions are primarily outdoors at Ratcliffe Park, close to our regular training home at Exurb Fitness.

What is your refund policy?

Full refunds are available when cancellation is requested at least 7 calendar days before the first class. Registrations cancelled within 7 days of the program start are non-refundable. Missed classes are not prorated or refunded. If Team Fudoshin cancels the program, registered families receive a full refund.

Does my child need any Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience?

No prior experience is needed. This is a foundational program designed to introduce kids to the physical and character-building sides of training together.
